This page describes the current app. A full privacy policy must be confirmed before public launch.
What you enter
The app stores the account details you provide, including your name and email address. It also stores the debt details, payment records, and plans you enter. Passwords are stored as hashes.
How the app uses this information
Your account lets you sign in. Your debt details let the app calculate estimates and show your progress. Session cookies keep you signed in. The app uses email for account checks, password resets, and household invitations.
Shared households
Members of the same household can access its shared debts and plan. Only invite people with whom you want to share that information.
Your controls
Account settings include controls to change your profile and request account deletion. Read the deletion notice carefully: deleting an owner account can also delete the shared household and its debt records.
Questions about your data
Use the Contact page to reach the project owner. Hosting providers, retention periods, and applicable privacy rights still need to be documented for the public service.
